It is said that 'imitation is the best form of flattery' so we at Readypave should feel doubly flattered by the amount of companies on the internet that are passing our work off as their own!
It is not uncommon for companies to use stock images (mostly of American work) to show areas, such as swimming pools and commercial paving, but it does make you wonder what their own work is like or wether they have enough jobs to photograph to put in a gallery. Some companies use clever wording such as "please browse the website and look at some of the designs and colours we can offer" which implies that it is all their own work without actually saying so! Other sites blatantly state that the images shown are all their own work!
The companies who are currently using images of Readypave imprinted concrete paving we have found to date are:
Cretepave from Rhyl and Chester (claiming to be number 1 in the north west) who are using a Readypave image lifted from the internet.( This has now been removed on their new website)
Artprint driveways from Telford who have used their own photographs of two of our driveways.
KSDriveways from Congleton and Shropshire using their own image of our work.
This type of deception, along with statements such as the claim of years of experience, projects undertaken etc show what a difficult proposition it can be to see through a glossy website and the perils of taking the written word at face value!
Still the best method of assessing if a company is genuine is to get more than one reference of completed work, of varying ages, from previous customers.
